Whether single or double crossing turnouts, wherever tracks intersect, merge or diverge, absolute precision is essential.
Crossing turnouts combine complex track geometries in a compact design, providing space-efficient routing solutions for stations, depots and high-density rail networks.

In partnership with CRSBG, VAKO-A.R.T. offers a full range of crossing turnout configurations and gauges, individually designed for high-speed, freight and urban rail applications.
Using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies – from precision-machined crossings and fully welded rail joints to high-manganese steel materials – we ensure the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, wear resistance and operational safety.

Single crossing turnouts (EKW) combine a crossing with two switch mechanisms, allowing main and siding track connections with minimal spatial requirements.
Double crossing turnouts (DKW) integrate two full turnouts and a crossing into a single structure – ideal for compact track layouts, station areas and stabling yards, where four routing options must fit into limited space.

All crossing turnouts can be equipped with elastic bearings, anti-vibration systems, integrated sensor technology or preassembled drive units, depending on operational needs.
